Well, either way, those are difficult to miss. They have a habit of making this squeaking noise. If they stay with you long enough it becomes an insufferable song.

No, I cannot. It's uncomfortable for me to keep my eyes open when I can't use them anyway, so I always keep them closed.

As long as you know what to look for you should be able to isolate it. They have a habit of coming out more often when you're close to others. That should make it a little easier for you to know when to be cautious.
